The Road to the Sun

Tuesday August 24, 2010

So my dad was reading this paper about how the drive to Glacier National Park in Montana was one of the best drives ever! So what do you suppose we did today...
It's a 4 hour drive down to the boarder and so we had to start out early. When ever we go on vacation I always wake up earlier than I normally would when I'm at home :l Anyways I slept for most the drive since it was boring and not SPECTACULAR like the article said -_-
We finally got there after 4 hours, there were a lot more Glaciers here than there was in the Glacier Park in BC.

Once we got to the peak of a mountain, via what was called the road the the sun, there was a path we walked along to a place called Hidden Lake. While walking we saw goats, a ram and some deer. It's the most animals I've ever seen in one area.

We didn't do much here, that was pretty much the highlight of the trip there. On the way back over the boarder though we saw this nicely cut line through the forrest to mark the boarder between Canada and the US.

On our way back we stopped to see this very large truck.
