The Must Have Timeshare Presentation

My family has owned timeshare since 1991 (people thought we were crazy for buying it) But that is the way we travel, it kind of forces us to go on vacation sometimes which is a good thing. For those of you who don’t know what timeshare is… well to sum it up briefly you own a deeded week at a resort and you are entitled to use that week (or however much you own) at that time. Now a lot of people would be like why would you want to go to the same places every year? The answer to that is that you can also use your week to trade to other places that your resort network has access to. It really is a great thing.
The Beach Club Resort. Apparently the only people in the swimming pool were the Canadians -.- (it was about 15 degrees Celsius outside that day)

Ok so back to the trip, we usually ALWAYS have a day where we attend a timeshare presentation, usually this is to get updated on what’s happening with the company and then they try to sell you more weeks and stuff. But they do offer you a nice gift to go, usually money, for a 90 minute presentation. Now they usually say that’s the maximum amount of time, but for us it never is… We spent from 10:00am – 4:30 pm at the presentation! Crazy I know!

After we finally got out of there we headed back to Walmart to try and see if we could get some actual food this time, which they did since I guess everyone did their grocery shopping the day before. And we even managed to get some chicken! (btw they sell chicken at Walmart, I don’t think they do that here in Canada because we don’t have supercenters… :l)
After that we finally went out and did stuff we do in Florida… Which is go see Disney stuff because I absolutely love Disney =] Our resort is right around the corner from Disney so it’s pretty awesome. We first went to go see some of the resorts to see if their Christmas decorations change every year. (They don’t =[ )

The Disney Resorts Christmas decorations are HUGE!

But then we ended up getting suckered into going to a Disney Resorts Presentation which I don’t mind (we’ve been on them before) because you get fast passes for the park that work immediately opposed to ones where you have to wait and hour or even longer till you can use it.
The new Disney Contemporary Resort and the monorail.

We then went to Downtown Disney which is a nice place to just walk around, but it was kind of crowded compared to the years I’ve been before. It’s still a nice place though, especially the GIGANTIC World of Disney Store! =D
