The Middle of Nowhere

Today we left the house around 7am to catch our 10am flight to Calgary International.
So we arrived at Calgary International at around 12pm because the flight was 4 hours and there's a 2 hour difference.
After we got off and collected our luggage we headed over to the car rental place where we got a car that made a LOT of noise trying to get up hills and when you try to speed up :l

When we landed and walked outside it smelled like hickory, apparently there had been a forrest fire going on somewhere in BC and the smoke was just hanging over Calgary... :l

We decided to go to Costco (we go across Canada and end up going to Costco... I know! -_-) We picked up just the essentials that wouldn't go bad because we had a 3 hour drive into the middle of nowhere... that's also why we went to Costco, to prepre for if there was absolutely nothing where we would be staying. When we were in Costco it didn't even feel like we were on vacation.. felt like we were at home still haha, we also got food at Costco to top off the feeling of being at home... :l

Now we begin the 3 hour journey into the middle of no where! It wasn't too bad... there was a lot of nature around. About an hour into the drive we passed through Banff National Park, we stopped along the way and took some pictures too. We finally got to the town we are staying in called Fairmont Hot Springs, its a very SMALL town in the middle of no where... Since it was already 6pm by the time we checked in and unloaded our stuff we decided to just eat a pizza we had bought from Costco.

What I deemed as the "Moose Bridge", its technically just a bridge that allows the wildlife to cross over the highway safely. And I just like moose =] (Even though I have yet to see one)

Our resort in Fairmont Hot Springs.
