So after 10 hours I am finally in New York City!!! So exciting! This is the first time I have even been to NYC. So to start off we decided to head over to the hotel to drop off our luggage. We stayed in Newark, NJ because I was able to get a hotel for $29 a day :O and it was only about a 30 minute train ride in via the PATH.
So when we got there it was a bit too early to check in so we dropped off our luggage and headed out to eat a late lunch/ early dinner (linner?) Someone suggested to us to go to a diner down the street called Top's Diner
The portions were pretty massive. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich which was amazingly delicious. The meat was so tender and the sauce was just right. I had the Feta Burger which was very yummy as well. They had so many options it was hard to decide what to eat. We sat at the bar area, so we could see all the food going out and we watched in awe as all the food passed by us. They also had a huge assortment of cakes which we were unable to try because we were so full by the end of the meal.
After rolling back to the hotel we were able to check in. After we dropped off our things we headed back out to the city. We found out that the free shuttle from the hotel would take to Penn Station Newark and would come pick us up upon request before 11:00 pm/ (Yay to promoting laziness)
Our first destination was the Gershwin Theatre to catch the Wicked Lottery because it was the show that my friend really wanted to see. Of course we had no luck and then wandered over to Times Square.

They knew I would be coming! In the NYC speciality mixes too! =P
Of course I can't go anywhere without going into the Disney Store! Which was gigantic! like all the other stores in New York!
